Dr. James Matuk Joins EDC as Assistant Professor

Dr. James Matuk received his PhD in Statistics from The Ohio State University in 2021. His dissertation research focused on developing methods for functional data analysis and statistical shape analysis with a focus on biomedical engineering applications. He continued his training at Duke University through a postdoctoral appointment in the Department of Statistical Science with a focus on Bayesian nonparametric methods for longitudinal data analysis. Dr. Matuk joined the EDC in 2023 as a Data Scientist and serves as a Statistician on the SWAN and REMOTE BP studies.
